Apple's Biggest Announcements From WWDC 2016
Apple's annual World Wide Developers Conference is typically the company's biggest event of the year, a massive gathering of developers and media all assembled to see the latest tech to come out of Cupertino. This year's event is likely to be light on hardware and heavy on software updates. Among the big announcements expected this year: An extension of Apple's Siri virtual assistant to the Mac and its opening up to third party apps; an update to iMessage; a refresh of Apple Music and an iTunes overhaul; Apple Pay payments on the web and perhaps person-to-person Apple Pay payments as well; and previews of the next generation versions of iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. Below, a running list of everything we learned.
